EJF is dedicated to protecting the natural environment and the people and wildlife that depend upon it by linking environmental security, human rights and social need.

EJF creates and implements solutions where they are needed most - training local people and communities who are directly affected, to investigate, expose and combat environmental degradation and abuse - enabling them to protect the resources on which their lives depend, defending their basic human rights.

EJF is developing projects in the most difficult, dangerous countries of the world, where people lose their rights to land, forest, fisheries, clean air and water. It works in places where these issues are not merely questions of quality of life - they are questions of life or death.

The National Fish and Wildlife Foundation conserves healthy populations of fish, wildlife and plants, on land and in the sea, through creative and respectful partnerships, sustainable solutions, and better education.
